Exclusive Interview :)))))

I never talk about myself, my life ….until somebody asks me to do this. So assume you asked me 3 questions:
1.Who are you?
Who am I? I’m a person with my own life view, without particular aims or targets…I mean I have aim but I cannot formulate it in a sentence..even for myself. However I enjoy life and try to do everything to make my life enjoyable. Many people envy me and I don’t understand why. Maybe that’s why I don’t have friends…real friends. I don’t trust people however I’m friendly and ready to help. I’m lazy but when there is need to act I’m able to concentrate and show good result. I’m definitely neither a leader nor a person who follows…something in between.
2. How did you learn English?
Oh….long story…The story started in 2000. I finished school and entered University. Honestly speaking it wasn’t my choice of University and faculty. But that year I didn’t have other way out. After 2 years of study I went abroad. I had been living there for couple of years. So it was Sri-Lanka where I got my first practice in spoken English. I must say it was hard to go through language barrier. At that time my English was very very poor. But very soon I improved language and my communication became easier. Day by day you speak English, you describe (or at least try) things and events in English, you express feelings and thoughts in English…..oh you know what? I even started thinking in English ))
After a while I entered European Institute there. I studied Human Resource Management for a year or so. Education was in English of course. That was another hard think for me. I remember first week of lectures…I was going home understanding almost nothing…sitting with printed lectures, translating almost every word! That was a real hell for me. But I was the only foreigner, besides…the only Ukrainian one. So I wanted to be the best to show others that Ukrainian people are very smart ))) And I did it. I was one of the best in my group. I was so proud of myself.

So this is how I learnt English….well….I can’t say “I’ve learnt it” because I still know a little and my grammar isn’t perfect. But now after everything I’ve experienced I’m not scared of expressing myself, discussing different topics in English.
Ah yes….the bad influence of my so called Sri-Lankan practice was my accent. I spoke with many people of different nationalities..they all told me that never spoke with Ukrainian girl who speaks English with Indian accent ))))) I guess I sounded more than funny ))))
I want to give you a piece of advice…
The main thing is you should have something to say, think, analyze…If you have those abilities then you will find the way how to do it in English.  And therefore will learn how to speak English.
3. What does it give to you?
I won’t say that English gave me so much and opened all doors in the world. That would be an exaggeration. But definitely it helped me to some extend. It gave me possibility to travel without problems, to make friends and useful contacts.

  1. Remake, please. There are too many mistakes with articles, sequence and usage of tenses and some other points. Check thoroughly and try to do your best.
